General information:
Ustronie Morskie is a fishing village situated on the Central Pomerania coast, 12 km east of Kołobrzeg. Population is about 3500. The village is also a known seaside resort where cliffs fall steeply to the sandy beach. Apart from the cliffs on the coast an additional attraction at Ustronie Morskie is a seaside park situated in the eastern part of the area. The resort has several hotels which are prominent on the foreshore. The first written record about a fishing settlement comes from the 13th century. There are still well maintained fishermen's cottages of frame construction from the 17th century. There is a fishing harbour formed by pier and wooden breakwaters.
