Navigational aids:
Kuznica Church with spire is conspicuous standing 7.25 miles SE of Wladyslawowo. Approaches to the harbour of Kuznica, situated on Hel Peninsula require local knowledge. The entrance to the harbour is declared unsafe due to shoaling.
Quayage and berthing facilities
There is a pier, for fishing boats, situated on the side of Puck Bay. The other fishing harbour is on the open beach on the Baltic Sea, on delimited stretch of 100m in length.

General information:
Kuznica is a fishing village and seaside resort situated 4 miles NW of Jastarnia on the narrow site of Hel Peninsula (300 m in width). The population is about 1100 and most of them work in fisheries. The first written record of Kuznica as a fishing village comes from 1570. According to the documents from 1772, local fishing community consisted of 25 fishermen, which used 5 large and 5 small fishing nets.
In 1889 in the village 35 fishermen, out of 79, had the surname Budzisz.
Currently in the old fishermen's cottages are accommodation facilities for tourists.
There are two fishing harbours, one on the beach of open sea and next one in small port on the side of Puck Bay.
