Investments in Russia's state program to develop ship construction will amount to over 600 billion rubles, including 330 billion rubles of budget funds, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Nov. 8 at a government meeting.
"The program is aimed at restoring Russia's position in the world as a ship builder. The financing of the program will exceed 600 billion rubles, including 330 billion rubles from the federal budget," Medvedev said.
The program envisages the development of vessels for research and development, shelf searches, and ice vessels.
