The Norwegian shipbuilding group Kleven Maritime signed a contract wíth Atlantic Offshore, Sotra, Norway about the delivery of two platform supply vessels (PSVs) at a total value of around NOK 700 million.

Both units will be built at Kleven Maritime’s shipyard Myklebust Verft. The contract also includes an option for a further vessel of the same kind. The 90m-long type VS 485 MKIII L vessels will have a deck area in access of 1000m². Atlantic Offshore has signed a long-term contract with Statoil for both PSVs. The delivery is scheduled for the first and the third quarter of 2014.
