Extension alarm system
G-CABIN is a highly reliable engineer calling system which extends the G-CAM Control, Alarm and Monitoring
system for unmanned machinery space operation. Cabin alarm panels are available with 8 LED alarm indicators
and text window or with a display unit and user-friendly keypad. The cabin alarm panel with 4 lines display
unit indicates in detail the channels in alarm condition. The cabin alarm panels also include call functions
from either the ECR or Bridge. A patrol alarm panel (dead man alarm system) protects the engineer when
working in the engine room. All units are connected to a Fieldbus cable.

CSI has won the order for the alarm monitoring for a 40mtr. Schooner. The alarms will
be displayed on TFT screens with touch control. The yacht will be sailing in early 2002.

M1000 Alarm Annunciator
The new edition features a build-in a RS485 interface with support for the standard MODBUS RTU
communication protocol (common with PLCs). The new M1000 will also have build-in RS232 and ANSI terminal
based configuration of extended features.
It is also possible to program the unit with the M0500 programmer, but in that case it
is required to set the communication protocol of the M1000 to SELCO Bus and to configure the
N0500 software to 9600 Band. (See M1000C RS232 configuration, page 12). This is also required
for use of the M1000C together with the N0300 process logger.

Personal Surveyor
A compact personal monitor with the facility to detect up to four gases: 0 to 100% LEL flammable gas,
0 to 25% O2 and two toxic gases. The Personal Surveyor provides audible and visual alarms, data-logging
and automatic data transfer as standard. The single instrument push button allows user programming of
various instrument control functions.
