Europort Romania 2008

New opportunities at the Black Sea

MAY 27 - 29, 2008 Constanta, Romania
Attention: your participation must be definitive before March 1, 2008!
A maritime fair resulting in relations
The stately building and design of the tennis club IDV in Constanta is undergoing a complete metamorphosis. As a participant you can make a presentation here as you are used to. All facilities and possibilities are available. So for three days you can make contacts in an efficient way. There is also an additional programme, whereby you can intensify this contact in a relaxed atmosphere.
Why would you wait?
Unless you know a better way of reaching so many proved potential buyers in such a short time, Europort Romania is really a chance of a lifetime. This maritime fair has room for 40 exhibitors. The stands have a size of 3 x 3 m (9m2) or 4 x 3 m (12 m2). Costs: € 4250,- and € 4500,-respectively. This includes: flight for 1 person, hotel, breakfast, participation in meet & greet parties, transfer, stand building (stand decoration is up to you). If you would like to have 2 people or more at your stand, there will be an additional arrangement of € 950,- pp.
There is also the possibility to book two 3 x 3 m units next to each other (18 m2). Total cost being € 8000,- including a total arrangement for two persons.
Foreign interest
In the past shipbuilding only concentrated on hulls. At present ships are increasingly completed on location. The required equipment and know-how for this is obtained abroad. So there are major opportunities for Dutch maritime suppliers. This was also the case in previous years, because the Holland Marine Expo has already been an important meeting point for five years.
Strategic location
The Romanian shipbuilding sector is many sided and the main reason is the geographic position of Romania. It is one of the starting and end points of European inland navigation. At the same time the Black Sea offers access to the world oceans.
All ship types
Romania has 12 large shipbuilding yards and their order portfolio consists of, apart from repair work, the building of inland navigation vessels, multipurpose ships, oil & chemical tankers (40,000 dwt), general cargo vessels, tugs, patrol boats, LPG carriers, RO-ROs, supply vessels, but also large pleasure yachts.
Europort Romania is business!
Between now and the future the tendency is clear. Hulls in Romania are completed with equipment and installations, not from Romania but for example from the Netherlands or elsewhere in Western Europe. So there is an increasing interest in suppliers of, for example, pumps, (auxiliary) motors, hydraulics, electronics, propellers and propeller shafts, ship navigation, kitchen systems and complete crew accommodations. But also for companies that have experience with complex shipbuilding projects.
Meet the right people at Europort Romania
You want to talk with managements of shipyards, ship owners, buying agents, designers and supervisors. Exactly those people will visit Europort Romania. Good experiences of visitors in the past (the 5 editions of Holland Marine Expo) plus the intensive cooperation between Ahoy Rotterdam and The Romanian Shipbuilders Association (ANCONAV) guarantee highquality visitors. You will conduct business immediately.
