The main goal of the Baltic Transport Forum is discussion of the key issues of international cooperation in transport industry of the Baltic region through the prism of the world financial crisis, an analysis of the world economic processes influence on realization of the large infrastructure projects and cargo traffic logistics as well.
The Baltic Transport Forum gathers leading specialists and experts of the transport industry, representatives of governmental bodies as well. In the face of the global financial crisis, there is still a high potential for further economic growth in Russia. The Baltic region is an economically profitable territory for handling and transloading of Russian, import, export and transit cargoes, while the transportation and logistics market is one of the prospective lines of the North-West development.
